The mini carnival included a yogurt eating contest, bake sale and a jumping castle, with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer education, said ZTA Secretary Nicole Abbott.

“We’ve had a pretty good turnout,” she said.

The event, which also included hair feather extension sales, was the first of its kind the sorority has done and was pretty successful, Abbott said.

She said the sorority plans on doing more events like this one in the future.

“We will add more as we go,” she said. “Look out for us next year.”
