Sahara Mediterranean Restaurant Fire

Photo by André Lavern Isaac - isaaca2@winthrop.eduSahara Mediterranean Restaurant off India Hook road was severely damaged in a fire Thursday night. The fire took three hours to clear, said Capt. Charlie Sizemore with the Rock Hill Fire Department.

The restaurant sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage, Sizemore said, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.  

No one was in the restaurant at the time and no injuries were reported, he said.
