TRESPASSING (10/23/11)
At 5:30 p.m., a Winthrop police officer went to the West Center in response to a subject trespassing, according to the police report. A West Center employee told the officer that the subject was in the West Center playing basketball. The officer then checked the trespass database and found that the subject was currently on trespass notice from Winthrop, according to the police report. The officer made contact with the subject and told him he was under arrest for trespassing, according to the police report.
PETTY LARCENY (10/18/11)
At 2:30 p.m., a Winthrop police officer met with a complainant in the lobby of the police department who wanted to report an incident of petty larceny, according to the police report. The complainant said that on 10/14, someone cut her lock off her purple bicycle and removed it from the bike rack outside of Richardson Hall, according to the police report. No witnesses have been identified and the case is closed until further information develops, according to the police report.
