Earthquake hits U.S. East Coast

UPDATE 2:40 PM: President DiGiorgio has sent a campus wide email in regards to the earthquake. According to this email, "Facilities Management teams are checking our older buildings first for any structural/ water line damage, etc. Meanwhile, it is deemed safe to return to any building on campus. Should you find any damage in your building, please contact Facilities Management with a report."

Original Post: Rock Hill felt the residue of an earthquake struck near Mineral, V.A., with a preliminary magnitude of 5.9, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was felt all along the East Coast, including Maryland, Washington and North Carolina.
